The Stained Glass Stamford Cone, 2005

The Stained Glass Stamford Cone, 2005
Stained glass "cone" located across from the MetroNorth train station in Stamford, Connecticut. This photo was taken in August, 2005.

Tresser Blvd, Stamford, CT 06901-3277

More than 200 stained glass panels create this local landmark. The Stamford Cone, which resembles a kaleidoscope, stands over 45-feet tall. The structure, designed by Brian Clarke, adds a magical touch to the downtown area. During the day, visitors can go inside and see the sunlight through the stained glass. At night, the structure is brightly lit.
