Auf der Durchreise (4xPiP)

Are these Juniper thrushes the same as fieldfare - the winter thrush? We don't have them in out garden, but for the last week I have seen flocks of fieldfare on winter fields. I think there might have been redwings in the flocks too. I have tried to get photos of the flocks, but failed miserably. I did get the flock in flight. This is a beauty, Klaus.

Yes, I think it's the same. I found it in Wikipedia. The grey head is characteristic.
