Foggy bridge

Foggy bridge
Köhlbrandbrücke - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Köhlbrand_Bridge (also in some other languages) - in Hamburg on a foggy day. Taken from Altonaer Balkon: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Altonaer_Balkon

The Köhlbrand-Brige is a 3618m suspension-bridge (second longest street-bridge of Germany) and one of Hamburgs "must-have-seen" - items. It´s 55m above water and was constructed between 1970 and 1974 as addition to the Elbe Tunnel: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elbe_Tunnel_(1975) (some other languages).

Above the bridge you can see one of the highest high-power-lines of Germany, too.

Thank you. Gray was the only option at this photo because - well - the fog was way to grainy in color. In b&w it get´s something like an old look, which work...

Thank you again for your favs and comments. Anyway, personally I don´t like such weather-conditions (during winter), it feels cold, wet and you can´t take nice photos (of the kind which I like - seems to be a happy take by reading your comments anyway ;)
Specially if the items are this far away...

It´s defenitiv... arghs... definitely planned by me to visit this place again, on a day with clear conditions (maybe a little bit sun... a beer... a blanked...) to take another shot where the Köhlbrandbridge is clearly visible. It would be worth the effort - commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Köhlbrandbrücke

Very interesting. I think it has a Scottish brother. Built roughly the same time. [www.ipernity.com/doc/afwrite/18086853]

Well.... the lines seem to be way lower. The "Köhlbrandbrücke" itself is 55m heigh - but the pylons are 135m in heigh. You ones doesn´t look this high above the platform.

Outstanding bridge! Beyond it, visibility drops fast.
