Brighton
Mostly ancient prints I've recently scanned (with the excellent Epson 4490) to save them for posterity... these ones are from Brighton and thereabouts.

Gulls
I just love this. It cost me doughnut and a lot of patience.
Try to work out how come the pier is running parallel to the coast ;-)

Palace Pier sunset
You guys liked my last Brighton seafront shot (it's my most viewed and most favourited photo on flickr) so here's another oldie I like :)
Pentax ME-Super, 50mm, UV filter.
evening
The view from the end of my road. (It's the seafront in Brighton.)
This is entirely natural – no filter and the only Photoshopping was the removal of a scratch – it's a scan from a lab print. The fact that the Porsche is yellow helps a lot ;)
Note too the old West Pier in the background — sadly no longer with us.

cliffage
The white stone around the south coast of Britain is really striking in the summertime. Here, just outside Brighton, a track has been carved right down through them to let emergency vehicles get down to the shore.
