This colonnade and steps are all that is left of the mansion house that stood on this spot from around 1865 until it was demolished in 1959. Better viewed large, I think.

Keith Burton club has replied to Rosalyn Hilborne clubOn the flat bit of land behind the wall a "diagram" of the mansion has been laid out in stone, to give people an idea of the size and shape of the rooms. In the grounds there are a couple of follies (which I will post photos of soon) and the old coaching house has survived and is now a coffee shop (also another photo to follow).
