The Vicars' Close
Situated very near Chichester Cathedral West Sussex, (part of which can be seen behind the houses), The Vicars’ Close was established in 1475 to house approx 28 Vicars’ Choral of the Cathedral in spartan single-room chambers.
Over the years they were eventually converted into four large houses, all of which have been extended to the rear. As far as I can establish two are now privately owned and two are still used by the cathedral.

Die Kathedrale habe ich vor etwa 15 Jahren besucht und noch gut in Erinnerung.
