A Deserted South Parade Pier, Southsea, Hampshire
Taken during our weekly trip to Southsea to meet a friend who is in a support "bubble" with us. We didn't stay long as it was bitterly cold.
Please view large on black. Thank you :-)
There's a closer look at the pavilion in the PiP.

Reminds me of our visit to Santa Cruz' Beach Boardwalk some years ago on a motorcycle trip. Had some fun with night photography and getting interesting pictures in the very short time we were there...http://www.supermoto.photo/gallery-santa-cruz-beach-boardwalk/
Sorry it was bitterly cold out there, I don't doubt it! BRRRR!!!
Wonderful place and image
ik hoor op de radio dat in jouw land al 15 miljoen mensen een vaccin kregen

We don't have "support bubbles", we are only allowed to meet one other person outside of our household- which by nearly everyone is interpreted as one person at a time;-)
Keith Burton club has replied to Gudrun clubOur friend has learning difficulties and is finding the lockdown particularly difficult. As a family, we have arranged for someone to speak to her every day, but as we're in the only ones in a position to drive we make the effort to go and see her in person at least once a week for about an hour, just to make sure she's coping OK. We usually meet up at the boating lake in Southsea (near the pier) as she like to sit and feed the swans etc. By including her in our support bubble I think we conform to the spirit of the rules in order to safeguard her mental health and we follow all the social distancing rules etc.
I hope you have someone you can meet up with now and then :-)
It will be good when we can all get back to some sort of normality. Jackie and I have our first vaccinations on Thursday, which is a good start!
Gudrun club has replied to Keith Burton clubGood for you to have your vaccinations, I hope you'll also get a second shot soon!
My 90year old mum is still waiting and for us younger ones it will be summer at the earliest... By that time I hope more mRNA vaccines will be available.
