Fine structure, Keith! First, I wondered if it could be a grainfield... In a way, that picture has no scale!

In the thumbnail shot I though it was a field, but now I can see it more clearly, and having read what it actually is, I am very impressed and agree with Jean that macros give a new perspective on what we might not have otherwise noticed. Good work Keith.

Glad you like it Jean Paul...........no, I didn't get my new lens until after xmas. This was taken with my 12-100 f4 zoom lens.

Thank you all so much for your kind comments. I was pleased with this one because I didn't have a macro lens with me and had to use a 12-100 zoom lens. It took a few shots to get it sharp enough!
