Memorial Stone

Memorial Stone
I probably walk past the War Memorial in my home town 4 or 5 times a week. Last Saturday I noticed that someone had painted a stone and left in on the steps of the memorial. It looks like it's been there some time so I thought it deserved to have it's photo taken :-)

Quiet attractive, looks like a Poppy, Maybe in readiness for the 75th Anniversary of the D-Day landings, or as you say been there for some time "Remembrance Sunday" perhaps.
