A Pair of Apples
Left on my tree for the birds to eat.
This is just quick post to let you know why I haven't been about for a while - basically I've been in hospital with acute appendicitis. I've had my appendix removed and I'm home now with a supply of antibiotics and painkillers. I won't be posting again for a while because sitting hunched over a computer screen is quite painful.
I hope everyone is well. Take care:-)

See you soon ;-)
Have missed you, but have also been a bit MIA with all the bushfire dramas down under and near here.
I hope you make a speedy recovery. Cosset yourself well...
Diana xxxx
I though you had been a bit quite - poor thing!
I too had my appendix removed after the same acute appendicitis in my late teens and so I know exactly what you are going through. Take care and see you again soon.
Regards, Herb
super mooie bokeh hier
Great close up!
good enjoyment
I almost feel like it's wrong to appreciate your picture but it's absolutely GORGEOUS in every way. The droplets, the details, the omg BOKEH...it's all just outstanding! You are a wonder.
I have been away from ipernity or very distracted for a while now, as you know, and though I'm finally finding my way back into my usual happy self, it's been a bumpy road emotionally. It's hard--impossible--to be creative and sharing when feeling like that. And then I've been doing lots of other things too. And I've MEANT to visit--I'd be walking up and down the road for my exercise, see something cool and think of you...and then when I'd get inside, I'd forget to go see your stream...so I am feeling pretty guilty--though I know you don't hate me for it, but still. :(
Anyway...many hugs from afar and hoping you're feeling better soon!!
However.................I am well on the mend now and hope to be posting more often. I am still restricted a bit in that I'm not allowed to lift anything remotely heavy and I'm not allowed to do anything strenuous for another four weeks or so. My car is still off the road as well so I won't be able to travel far anyway!
My wife is supervising me closely :-))
Keith Burton club has replied to Diane Putnam clubI'm feeling pretty good now, but the recovery took a lot longer than I expected, I went out for a short walk yesterday but my wife is watching me like a hawk to make sure I behave and follow the doctor's orders :-))
