Taken along a footpath near where I live where a tree has been blown down - forming a bridge!

I don't usually post two images on a Friday..............only I forgot what day it was and posted the first one, then went to look at my contact's photos and saw their HFF photos, so i thought I should get my act together!

Don't get old.............it's a trap :-))

Berny, Ernest CH, Diana Australis, aNNa schramm and 24 other people have particularly liked this photo

The fallen tree looks great. And the path with the ivy looks like the way into the wilderness.

I think we can take two of your pictures quite happily on a Friday Keith ;-))
Looks like the ivy will soon cover the 'bridge' and that will look great!
HFF and have a good weekend.

a delightful path and what a perfect curve of that fallen tree.

i'm always surprised at how similar the natural part of your part of the world is to mine. i mean, i know it - i've been there, but still i think of your part as 'other' than mine. there is of course differences, but this could be down the road from me (except we are a bit behind on spring leaves budding from the branches)!

seen and enjoyed in 'plants vs structures' - thanks for adding.

Der umgestürzte Baum bildet einen Torbogen. Er liegt schon länger dort, was man an den Moosen erkennt. Überhaupt ist die Natur hier so üppig, dass der Zaun schon fast zugewuchert ist.
HFF, Keith! Hab ein gemütliches Wochenende!

The tree must have been like this for a while, judging by the moss and ivy! It makes for a lovely natural frame:-) Have a good weekend, Leith!

Thanks very much for you generous comments folks. I have to say that the general area looks much better in this photo than in reality - it's really neglected and has become a target for fly-tippers! Such a shame!

Looks like the kind of fence and route that I often take around here Keith. The tree makes a smashing bridge and we can only hope that no real damage was done. Well captured here.

Belated HFF, enjoy the rest of the weekend, Herb

Thanks Herb..........generous as always with your comments.

I was exploring along the footpath as I hadn't been there for quite a while. This was about the only thing I found that moved me to take a photo.
