OK, I get it. But who wants to whisk coffee in the cup. Seems a rather messy thing to do, at least potentially!
Surely a purposeful but non-vigorous stirring motion with a teaspoon is all that is required?
I'm probably being very ante-diluvian and have missed a very salient point in the making of 21st century coffee!

I can't argue with you Andy..............a teaspoon seems the sensible way to go. This is one of those kitchen gadgets that people buy, use once or twice and then forget about. This one is on it's way to a charity shop as we speak, but it seemed a shame not to take a pic of it before it went :-))
