Chapel of St Hubert, Idsworth
Also known as "The Little Church in a Field". I'm not the slightest bit religious, but I love this little church and I've photographed it many times over the past few years. A couple of years ago it was surrounded by bright yellow Rapeseed flowers. Not quite so colourful this year, but still charming.

The sky looks a little menacing. I hope it did not threaten you Keith.
First of all, I love this picture. I love the band of light illuminating the church and the bright green grass contrasting with the grey sky.
Second of all...your series of rapeseed flower pictures ARE TO DIE FOR!!! I enjoyed every single one of them and thought that each is outstanding in its own right. Really travel-brochure-worthy at the very least, because it's the kind of picture that would have people zooming to the area to see that magnificent sight, but truly, they are gallery worthy and would look fabulous as an exhibit because they are all so beautiful.
Third of all...it was super to visit the link you provided to this fascinating old place. Fabulous history, and fun to see some interior pictures too.
Thanks so much for the wonderful feast for my eyes...you have my wanderlust going crazy here and I may have to force you to buy me a ticket to fly and visit! :D :D
