This is the band "Riverside" here in Seattle. (Looks best small. :))
I went to my first concert in many years the other night to see my favorite band "Riverside" who are all the way from Poland. This is the best photo I could get of the band and it's a screenshot from a short video I took (unfortunately, I couldn't see the drummer from where I was.)
It sure taught me a lot about what you need to get good photos in low light without a tripod and my little Sony just wasn't up to it at all especially with people bouncing all around me :D I had a great time though and the band was fantastic!
For Sight and Sound here are a couple of songs from their album "Wasteland" (2018)

This week in SSC:
"Music"
When I think of "music" my first thought is "The Beatles." I remember music from about the age of 4 when I was introduced to four lads from Liverpool by my 3 older teenage sisters. I don't remember my mom and dad playing much music but my sisters played The Beatles' music all the time in the early 60s and I was totally immersed in it. To this day whenever I hear a Beatles' song it makes me happy.
I think each one of these albums is the actual (American) original from my childhood (I have many newer albums too.) They belonged to my sisters and were passed on to me. I still get a kick out of how my sister corrected some of the information on one of them because, of course, she was the expert on everything "Beatles." :))
...and for Sight and Sound I'll choose this song because I love them "Eight Days a Week"
From their album "Beatles For Sale" (1964 U.K.) and "Beatles VI" (1965 USA)

Dark eyed Junkos aren't officially a "songbird" but don't tell them that. They love to sing even when no one's listening. :))

I've always loved Christine McVie's music. She's the quiet one in Fleetwood Mac but has continually written and sung such beautiful songs.

Bullinda? (looks best on black)
Some of you might remember our resident bullfrog named Bullinda that we had at our pond a few years ago: You can visit her album here: Bullinda
Well, as often happens with wildlife they are here one moment and then gone the next. She disappeared one day and now she might be back or it could be a relative or maybe just a good friend, who knows? Anyway, bullfrogs are always welcome at our pond so here is our new resident whoever he or she might be.
