Books!
This week in SSC:
"Books"
I took a photo of my book and then slipped it into this frame using an online editing program called "pho.to" (Original photo in PiP.)
I've always been a big fan of English author Daphne Du Maurier so I chose to feature her book "Frenchman's Creek" which is about a frustrated young aristocratic woman living in the 17th century. (It was also made into a movie twice.)
If you like suspense, romance and a bit of a twist you'll really enjoy this book. I couldn't put it down. (If you don't like spoilers don't read any synopses of it since they give way too much away. It's so much better to be surprised! :)

"Rebecca" was the first of her books that I read (twice) and have seen the movie several times. I just love them both! The opening passage of the book just grabs you and I was so happy that the movie did the book justice since that isn't always the case.
Karen's Place club has replied to Roger Bennion clubAnd the movies about them, too.
