Northern Flicker
Sight and Sound
Bird, birds, Byrds....
The Northern Flicker is one of my very favorite birds so I chose one of my very favorite songs by "The Byrds" to go with him, with all the jingle jangling goodness that we love about this group.
From their 1965 "Mr. Tambourine Man" album here's another gem written by the wonderful Gene Clark:
If you can see it, this video is priceless. Check out David Crosby (pre-mustache) and the girls dancing. (They are just like my older sisters that I grew up with lol) :D

Karen's Place club has replied to Pam J clubI don't think Gene Clark got the recognition he deserved either. I feel heartbroken when I read about him. If only he knew how much we loved him and his music. Sadly this is what has happened to so many great artists over time.
Thanks so much Roger for the nice compliment. Glad you enjoyed the dancing too.
