I heard in the news this week that deer numbers are so high over here that the Lynx UK Trust is looking at reintroducing the big cats, which have been extinct in Britain for more than 1,300 years, back to three parts of the UK for an initial five-year trial. However, their long term aim is to have hundreds of them in the wild in years to come to help keep the deer population under control.

Thanks Paul. Sounds interesting. I always wonder if those ideas are successful when they try them.
