Wintry winds do blow
Next morning
Mourning dove
Take-away breakfast
Minding, picking and eating
Impatiens rooting and blooming
Gathering sticks
By the grace of someone else's sobriety
Two crows
Graveside
Nigh full
Can Spring be far?
Full over Shea Heights
Old gift
Some roof
A little more snow gone, a few more snowdrops push…
An odd b&w sky
Pigeon in an apple tree
Pigeon in the apple tree
A little advice?
Leaning into the sun
Bold but wary, at least for the time being
Fifty-seven years old
Warm enough for house flies
Sliver Moon
Berry bag
Chipper truck's arse
At the mail boxes
A dervish for love
Number Forty-three
Wash Ballocks
Cape Spear licked by a spit of Arctic ice
An archives
Bleachers and backstop
Self portrait of sorts
Underwing's underside
A few minutes too late
The lane, or cove, with no name
Together, almost and for only a short time
Moon, Jupiter and Venus
Red Crossbill
Finches in the snow
Two purples and a goldfinch
The neighbourhood graveyard
Snowy evening with bus passing

Creeper creeping
Brown creepers are a rare visitor to our feeders. In fact I never saw one in twenty years. But, a week or so ago, one showed up, and it showed up again today.
They are not rare in these parts. I think they usually spend their time in the woods.
