Be looking down!

That's what my Grade Eight teacher used to say to the class when she didn't want to be observed herself, and she had set some reading or writing or calculation to do. Not sotto voce, but severa voce: "Be looking down!"

Anyway, this was our second frost, and for early October, that seems like a lot.
