Knees buckling

Knees buckling
For eight years, I've been watching (from my garden) this

sixty-year-old store as it crumbles down. I keep thinking its end is

near, but it's still there. Just barely. This was on Sunday past. I

was using the Olympus E-P2 with its 75mm lens.

Too bad, hey? It would have made a nice little restaurant / bar.
Mind you, with those angles, it could still make a nice bar. :)

But, yes, almost all the wood in it has been wet now for years and has lost its integrity. Once a roof collapses, as this one's did a couple of years ago, everything else follows.

When the main inshore fishery ended here over twenty years ago, a lot of perfect-condition fishing premises were left to moulder and ruin. Thus this building.
