Leader (or co-leader) of the wacky and absolutely delightful band Caravan of Thieves. A bit of rock, a dash of gypsy, lots of rhythm, and a large dose of circus. Hardly your typical folk festival act; the only (slightly) similarly showy groups I've encountered were klezmer-inflected, though that resemblance seems to be coincidental.
