Monument Against War and Fascism
This monument is near the Opera House in Vienna. In this sculpture a Jewish man is forced to wash anti-Nazi graffiti off a street with a brush. It is one of the four sculptures by Alfred Hrdlicka.
(This is a Montage photograph, two pictures have been merged to show front and side together. The partial, angular frame is intended to reflect the violence and unrest of the period depicted. It is also a nod towards the 20th century 'Cubist' school of art.)
