Closed in 1960, The Lamb began life as The Kings Hedd in 1548, before briefly becoming The New Inn, then ending up as The Lamb. The pub was visited by William of Orange on his way to be crowned King of England. The building is now a commercial property and named 'Lamb Arcade'.
