Oxford photo filch

Thank you for the suggested groups, Rhisiart, but this picture was never a railway poster!
It is one of my own photos that was filched by Greater Albion Typefounders! (see note)

Yes, they do some very nice lettering, but they should have asked me first before using my photo for their advertising.

No. I've only just discovered it.

If you can prove it's your photo you can sue them. Better contact a solicitor, and if it's the case, he can send them a letter with a request of an adequate compensation.

Oh, I can prove it alright. I have the Exif data and know which camera!
You cannot tell me someone else took the same photo with blossom exactly aligned.

Exif data can be faked. Any Photo editor program can change them. The only proof is the original large format file. That is why is not advisable to post the original file in the web.
Anyway probably the amount of money you can get from them will be less than the solicitor fee, and probably they know it...

Yes, I still have the original file, and the camera that took it.
But it looks much better now with the nice lettering.
Perhaps they will give me some free posters?
