Overly contrived and D composition. Hard to (even) tell where it is.

I can never understand why people have such objection to the split infinitive,
as it is often the most natural way of expressing something.

Just remember to never split an infinitive or use a preposition to end a sentence with.

In Latin, it's impossible to split infinitives, and to the Romans that felt natural. But English isn't Latin, and circumventing the splitting of infinities (and the rule about prepositions) can make a sentence awkward, I agree, and sometimes it's better to apply those rules flexibly.
