The detail is excellent. I was very surprised to discover the photo was taken with a Nikon D2X. I have had a D2Xs since 2011 - it is the camera I have used most often - but I don't think I have ever achieved this high a result. Maybe I should change my technique - more use of a tripod, for example.

Thanks for your comment and sorry for late reply. I didnt use a tripod. The camera just need lots of light and a lucky situations. But I fight everytime with my expectation to get sharp pictures. But, like in my tree studies, I love - in my art of working - more and more the colors, the structure, high contrast, high dynamic range as possible , hope to get the right atmosphere and just to have a nice memory. Sure I am happy to get sharp or high resolution picures, but I stopped pixelpeeping. Because thats not photography in my view. And just enjoy my four different nikon dslr cameras and love the clicks and less as possible intelligent software. Thats why a stopped Lightroom this year. I lose my photography to the software. I just use Dxo 3, Beginner package. Thats it. Sometimes NX Studio, but I love the film package of DxO.
