Saturday Self-Challenge
Pictures I have submitted to the Saturday Self-Challenge Group or related to the images I have used for there.
Wendy O. Williams and The Plasmatics
My album of Wendy O. Williams and The Plasmatics. It's called "Maggots: The Record."
Elvis Presley
The soundtrack album to the motion picture "Frankie And Johnny," starring Elvis Presley.
The Beatles
This is my album featuring The Beatles before Ringo Starr joined the group and they still had Pete Best as their drummer. It's still sealed and has never been opened. And not only that, I got Pete Best to autograph it!
Vanishing Susan

This is one of the last of the Black-Eyed Susans still hanging on in my yard. As a matter of fact, there were only two flowers in my yard this week, this one and a small rose, so there wasn't much in the way of flower subjects to choose from for the challenge this week. For the Saturday Self-Challenge group, whose theme this week was "Flowers Straight Out Of The Camera."
Taken with my Russian camera – a Zenit ET. It was taken to test my Sears 50mm prime lens on the Zenit body. Other than processing the film, there was no other post-processing used to get it to look like this - it's basically straight out of the camera, except for reducing the size for the internet. Unfortunately, I had to leave the bug bite holes in the leaves, as I wasn't allowed to clone them out.
Camera: Zenit ET (Made in Russia in 1984)

I'm Just A Bird In The Sky
This is a stuffed toy toucan plush toy. Long ago, I sketched out the pattern for it and then my Mother sewed it up for me. It was patterned after one like it that my little brother had at the time. To take this picture, I tossed the bird up into the air and used a little fill flash so it wouldn't be backlit from the sky. The post-processing effect I used was "Lens Flare."

A little pendant on a chain given to me by a friend a long time ago.
For the Saturday Self-Challenge group, whose theme this week was "Negative Space." I shot it in black and white so that the silver of the chain and pendant would stand out.
The Big "Cocoa Puff" Dipper
The Big "Cocoa Puff" Dipper, sailing in it's position through the great "Milky" Way.
Fire Truck Sign
This is a sign alerting that there was a fire station just ahead. I changed the color of the background of the sign and then took the top half of the image, which had plain sky behind it and cloned it over the bottom half of the image, removing some trees and the sign's post.
Snowfall
A new snowfall, from a cat's eyes perspective. For the Saturday Self-Challenge group.
A nice, soothing song from 1941 about snowfall by Claude Thornhill and his Orchestra:
Snowfall

This is for the Saturday Self-Challenge group, who's theme this week was "Christmas Still Life."
Unto You A Child Is Born
My favorite aspect of the season is that Jesus was born on Christmas Day and he's the reason the Christmas season exists in the first place. So, let's not forget that night over 2000 years ago.
For the Saturday Self-Challenge group.
New Year's Resolution No. 37

New Year's Resolution No. 37 - Next year, don't eat so many Christmas treats!
There is a picture in a picture at the top left showing some of the other cookies I made for Christmas.
New Snowfall, 2.34 a.m.
This was taken at 2.34 a.m., after the new snowfall we had been getting was starting to taper off. It was a long exposure, that's why it's so bright in the middle of the night.
Have A Drink On Me (Black and White)
This is my shot for this week's theme for the Saturday Self-Challenge. The theme was "Glass in Black and White."
I took my shot, converted it to black and white and didn't see any difference. I hope it worked. To see the original shot, there is a picture in a picture in the upper left corner.

This is just colored water in various glasses I own. There were four different colors in my food color box, so I used all four.
