This was my late Mother and Father, taken on Christmas Eve, 2006. I used my Konica Minolta Maxxum 5D DSLR.

Nashville, Tennessee has always been known as the "Athens Of The South," so this full-scale replica of The Parthenon was built as the centerpiece for their 1897 Centennial Exposition. When my parents got married in 1959, they chose to go to Nashville for their honeymoon. They photographed this other Parthenon while there.

I drew this when I was probably 13 or 14. I was a freshman in high school and it was for art class.

It's getting to be that time of year when I start baking sugar cookies for Christmas. I make all kinds of shapes then decorate them with all colors of icing and then they look good enough to give out to family and friends. But, first I have to bake them. Here's a batch that I had baked and were then ready to be iced. Taken with my Sony Alpha a230 DSLR on December 16th, 2011.

So I went out and cut my Christmas tree today and put it up in my living room, (which I had to rearrange to get it to fit), then tonight I decorated it. Out in the wild, it looked to be about 6 feet high, a good average size for my preferences. But when I got it home, it turned out to be 9 feet tall! It's a good thing I have 9 and a half feet high ceilings! It's a little scraggly looking, but it'll be all right for my needs. Taken today, December 1st, 2023, with my Sony Alpha SLT-a77V DSLR.

I just finished baking three pumpkin pies in readiment for Thanksgiving tomorrow. They're sure going to taste good! Taken with my Sony Alpha SLT-a77V DSLR, on November 22nd, 2023.

This shot was taken on March 29th, 2018, with a Kodak Easy Share C433 digital point and shoot camera. I was trying it out for the first time and this Easter decoration was a handy subject.

I did some more home canning last week and this is what I canned. 19 quarts of vegetables such as potatoes, green beans, carrots and corn; tomato juice and hamburger. My mother used to call it hamburger goulash, but it's not really a traditional goulash recipe. But it sure is good on those long, cold winter nights. Just open, then heat and serve.
