Christmas Sugar Cookies

Christmas Sugar Cookies
A different batch of sugar cookies I made last year for Christmas. Taken with a camera I bought brand new in 1978 and very expired film. It turned out great, considering the age of the film.

Camera: Minolta XD11
Lens: Minolta MD Zoom 28-70mm, f/3.5, @35mm
Film: Kodak Gold 100 (expired on 10/2011 and shot @25 ISO)
Shooting Program: Manual
Aperture: f/16
Shutter Speed: “B” (bulb) 20 seconds
Date: December 25th, 2023, 10.48 p.m.
Location: Norris City, Illinois, U.S.A.

Developing Chemicals: Unicolor C-41
Water pre-soak: 1 minute at 102 degrees
Developer: 3 ½ minutes at 102 degrees
Water rinse: 2 minutes (to keep chemicals clean)
Blix: 6 ½ minutes at 102 degrees
Water rinse: 2 minutes at approx. 100 degrees
Stabilizer: 1 minute at room temperature
Water rinse: 2 minutes

It certainly did turn out great. Some very fine colours there and good detail.

Thank you! When I bought that roll of expired film, I got about a dozen rolls of it and it was all stored properly.
