The Bank
For the Saturday Self-Challenge group, whose theme this week was "Artificial Intelligence."
I spent all week researching Artificial Intelligence and trying to figure out how to represent it photographically. The reason I picked a bank as my subject is because they employ AI in many ways. From the ability to accept checks deposited through a cell-phone application; helping to prevent fraud by using AI systems to learn what types of transactions are fraudulent; AI helps with credit decisions in determining the specific risk assessment for individual customers; or even to send customers text message alerts for a low balance, artificial intelligence is working in the background.
I don't have anything in my house that employs AI, and since this picture was taken on film using a camera made in 1916, I think you can figure out my stance on Artificial Intelligence.

HaarFager club has replied to Marie-claire GalletIt's frightening how much Google&Co know about us even when we try to turn off all the spy programs and delete scripts and cookies. Ideally we should use cash for our shopping, every card purchase gives the shops and bank more information about us. Difficult in virus times when contactless is the way to go...
wie gehst du dann Online?
Taormina club has replied to HaarFager clubHaarFager club has replied to Taormina clubTaormina club has replied to HaarFager clubWenn du andere Seiten besuchst, wird dir manchmal unauffällig,
Artificial intelligence is also there where you don't want it.
i'm so jealous that you have a darkroom, though i don't like developing film, i love printing.
i got lazy about having my own because we had a local darkroom one could rent (both b&w and color!) until about 3 years ago.
HaarFager club has replied to raingirl club"I love the smell of film chemicals on my hands in the morning." It lasts for a day or two and it's an old and familiar smell.
