Another coffee cup in my late Mother's collection. This one has apples all over it.

Just doing a little gardening, getting seedlings ready to plant out in my garden. Tending my apple trees and strawberry beds. I already have some little strawberries and apples forming! I planted 8 new apple trees this Spring and now I have ten. I'm liking this planting trees, so I might end up planting some more apple trees. (And peach trees.... And cherry trees, and....) I just love being able to get close to nature and being able to reap what I sow. There's nothing like it. And of course, you always need pictures of everything, so I get to take plenty of pictures of stuff.

That's sounds great, Kenny. We planted an orchard several years ago (apples, peaches, cherries) and just loved it, but the raccoons came and destroyed the trees. I love planting trees. We had a storm recently that knocked down some big fir trees close to our house so we have had to clear some trees and now have a view of the natural pond on our property. Every day we get to see the most beautiful birds, wood ducks, mallards, hooded mergansers, geese and we even had a bald eagle visit once. I know what you mean about being close to nature. There's nothing quite like it. I hope to get some good pics this year and I'll look forward to more of yours too. :)

That's too bad about the raccoons. Don't they know if they destroy their enviornment, that it'll end up hurting them as well? Stupid raccoons! There's a family of Raccoons that always climb up my sister's stairwell, to their upstairs apartment, and keeps destroying her potted plants. No wonder they wear masks - the hoodlums!

Sounds like you live at a great spot! I'd love to see a picture that shows the view of your pond.

lol I have to agree, the raccoons don't seem to think things through real well. ;) We have found out, the hard way, that they can be cute, but also very destructive.

Here's one pic that I took a little while ago: www.ipernity.com/doc/k.e.s_kloset/41547130

A whole bunch of stuff is now growing in the pond, grasses, lily pads and lotus so it looks different now. I will be posting some pics in the future as I get some nice ones and also hopefully some of the birds too once i figure out how lol
