Grain Is Good
Finished stripping the paint of my project bass guitar yesterday and the grain of the wood really shows. I did some further sanding on it after this photo and the stripes don't show so much. I think whoever owned it before me just put two strips of tape along it and stained it the color you see here around it. When I restaing it with a dark cherry stain, I think it will hide the stripes and make the color even.
I also did a little more work on the front of the guitar and it matches the back now - it looked like it had a coat of primer on it and the last remaining spots of it have been removed as well.
