This is Applecross one of the biggest settlements on the remote Applecross peninsula,
We arrived to typical weather from the North which a long but beautiful journey past Lochs and Mountains, (1pip)
Our road south tomorrow will take us onto Scotland's best driving road via "Bealach na Ba" (626m) and the "Applecross Pass",
Twisty roads, hairpin bends, windy streams, beautiful views all feature on the road down to sea level

A very fast changing weather day, a case of grabbing shots as and when possible.
The Road down.
The Russel Burn, flows beneath the road down from"Bealach na Ba" and Applecross Pass on a typically murky day,
Squrr a' Chaorachain (792m) is the mountain in the background.

Places are rapidly changing mainly because of the impact of the extra visitors on the North Coast 500 road,
Pleased to say I have many images of the route before it's popularity changed it forever!
