1307 in stereo

1307 in stereo
Look at these two images so that your eyes focus on a point halfway to the screen. You should see 4 images. Make the inner 2 images become 1 by moving your head and adjusting your focus. If successful you will see loco 1307 in stereo. These images were made in late 1972 or early 1973 where withdrawn locos were stored prior to scrapping. The camera was a Zeiss Ikon Contina and the film Tri-X with home development and these scans from commercial prints.

Phil Sutters, Stephan Fey, tiabunna, William Sutherland and 2 other people have particularly liked this photo

I found it worked when I took off my spectacles and went to a large image on black. What has me guessing is the locomotive type, which I can't identify.

NSW 13 cl. Originally a 12cl tender type introduced from 1877 converted to tank loco after 12 cl were superseded by better long distance passenger locos. This one is now statically preserved at Yass as it was the last steam loco which worked the Yass branch, withdrawn in 1965.
