These locos are owned by Aurizon, the business which bought Queensland Rail's freight operations. Throughout Australia the private operators produce more imaginative paint schemes than the former Govt operators.
This is known as a trestle bridge and is popular with many rail photographers. I discovered this one on the day of the photo while looking for places to record the railmotor in the adjacent photo. Queensland still has many but in other states they tend to get replaced by concrete ones.
