Loco 5408 at Enfield depot. It arrived an hour or two ago as the lead in a triple light engine movement from Lithgow. It is decorated by its sending railwaymen with branches from a cotoneaster tree, small red berries and green leaves (use imagination), to mark the end of steam in the west of NSW. 5408 was later sent to Pt Waratah depot where it worked until closed in December. A rainy August afternoon in 1972.
