Simply Red are an English soul and pop band that sold more than 50 million albums over a 25-year career. Their style drew upon influences ranging from blue-eyed soul, New Romantic and rock to reggae and jazz. From their early days, the main driving force behind the band was singer Mick Hucknall, who, by the time the band was disbanded in 2010, was the only original member left. At the 1992 and 1993 Brit Awards, they received the award for Best British Group...Michael James "Mick" Hucknall (born 8 June 1960) is an English pop singer and songwriter...recognisable for his smooth, distinctive voice and wide vocal range, as well as his red curly hair. He has been described by critic Trevor J. Leeden as "one of the truly great blue-eyed soul singers".

Zed
Alphabet Z
In most English-speaking countries, including Britain, Canada, India, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia, the letter's name is zed /ˈzɛd/, reflecting its derivation from the Greek zeta (this dates to Latin, which borrowed X, Y, and Z from Greek, along with their names), but in American English its name is zee /ˈziː/, analogous to the names for B, C, D, etc., and deriving from a late 17th century English dialectal form.

The writing's on the wall
There isn't much graffiti around here but I found this at Peregian Beach. A pity that the graffiti creator has done this to a charming mural. The mural depicts the typical beach access with fish, a dolphin and a whale frolicking in the Pacific Ocean :-)
