One of our hibiscus plants in Eumundi, Queensland, Australia.

It was planted a couple of years before this, and really liked this location.

Thanks Isabel. We built a house on acreage there, moved in late 2016, and then in early 2020 moved to New South Wales, to escape the summer heat and humidity. We had lived in Queensland for 27 years, and I loved everything about it, except the climate in summer. So, yes, I really do miss the people and place, although I love our new area too.

What a gorgeous colour. I do believe that plants have favourite places, because since I've moved my plants indoors, around different ways, they have flourished beautifully.

Beautiful Hibiscus - we had one similar in Florida that was called a ' Seminole Pink '. They grow in North Carolina, but must be moved inside during the winter.
Told the lady at the nursery that would be the kiss-of-death to it --- nothing I bring inside grows.
