I didn't realise these were Tibouchina flowers until I moved closer. They are so tiny, clusters of them flowering all over the hillside in part of our street. New South Wales, Australia.
Taken on 15th August, which marks the 75th anniversary of the end of WWII. Remembering my Dad, who served in WWII in North Africa and Italy, and my Mum's brother, who was KIA in Normandy.
