Our cat Dora frequently ambushes our Westie, Angus, throwing her paws around his neck. He tolerates her but does not understand her at all :-) I keep trying to catch the moment without success, so here are some easier subjects.

Yeah, you're not likely to see these two types of bears together often. Very cute, Gillian.

(It's so hard to get pics of the animals. My cat Molly always leaves when she sees my camera.) :))

A good pair. I don't know how our Westie would go with a cat!

I like how you have the panda looking at the koala bear, Gillian; two animals that are called bears but are not related to them or to each other!! A great example of inconguence! (Sorry for the late posting)

Thanks Val. Though often called the koala “bear,” this cuddly animal is not a bear at all; it is a marsupial, or pouched mammal. After giving birth, a female koala carries her baby in her pouch for about six months. For many decades, the precise taxonomic classification of the giant panda was under debate because it shares characteristics with both bears and raccoons. However, molecular studies indicate the giant panda is a true bear, part of the family Ursidae.
