There is an abacus that I am looking at just now when I am writing this words.
When I was a little kid they taught us using abacus at school.
Then it was all but forgotten. With calculators and such... there was no need to cultivate old skills.
But when 25 year ago I found one in good condition being thrown away by a neighbor, I could not resist.
I took the contraption, I renovated it and now it is displayed in my computer room so that I can see it and relax especially when my computer slows down annoyingly... ;)
