When I got interested in photography, Annemarie, I swore I would never take stiff neck photos. Now there are 76 more of these in my Stiff neck album.

Somehow this seems very emblematic of (I presume) Toronto, with its anarchic, somewhat anachronistic wiring system and the aspirational reach of the giant cranes.

Yes, it does. Toronto is always trying to build things that will show it's hip, but remains unhip. Thanks for the insight, Andrew. I gather Montreal is pretty far behind in replacing its old wires, too. It would be a good investment in the not-so-long run for both cities.
