Bastian does it again...

Yesterday at Racekatten's cat show Bastian once more competed in the mixed breed category. Here are some vidcaps from the stage show...

The judge Åsa Hammarlund particularly liked his fine mackarel markings and the fact that he looks like a "real housecat" without showing any signs of having other breeds in him. And also his wonderful temperament - once more he was relaxed and confident on the judge's table and among all the other cats.

In a close competition the judge awarded him Best In Show mixed breed. He has now proven that his first win was not just a lucky strike - he is a perfect housecat and a great show cat too...

Last summer Bastian was sitting in a cage at a shelter - now he is representing all the great adult cats that are waiting for adoption. We are so grateful we found him. ♥ :)

Caithlin was at the show too and won her 4th CAPS certificate on the way to her next title. Judge Eric Reijers nominated her for the stage show, which was won by another fine neuter. She did however win a Best In Show Veteran in Cat.IV, which explains the second trophe on the picture... :)
