Statt FarbFormFreude diesmal Farb-Form-geFahr. Auch schlechte Nachrichten können ansehnlich präsentiert werden.

Lange genug haben wir nur gelesen von den kommenden Extremwetterlagen. Inzwischen merken wir den Unterschied und müssen sie erleben. Offensichtlich gilt auch im globalen Maßstab das alte Sprichwort "wer nicht hören will, muss fühlen".

thank you raingirl, on that day i had no special plan, no detailed intention. In fact, i seldom have a plan. i was walking around , trying to celebrate the power of photography. tried several pics, and afterwards this one came out while playing around with post processing. (and that's my daily routine, often my photos develop themselves , they grow out of the RAW-file)

in germany we have a saying "ein Bild sagt mehr als 1000 Worte", which means "one picture shows more than 1000 words" - that was the power i'd like to demonstrate. And then the text developed with the comment of Stephan Fey.

seems like you had just the right amount of intention.

i'm envious of people who can create or modify their photos into art using post processing. this is very hard for me, though i try. i do regular post-processing, but infrequently do i push any boundaries with it.

i rarely add a description of more than a few words to my photos, if any. if i wanted to write words, i would do that, not photograph. it's an interesting thing - i think art should stand on its own and don't like even titling visual art. i don't object to others doing such things, but it isn't what i usually do - except for World Photography Day!

Nice submission for WPD. The processing has brought out the colors very nicely and you certainly staged the photo well with the sun behind the leaves.
