I took several photos of passers-by but this one, with the woman and the red trolley, convinced me the most.
The day wasn't fabulous but.... tiring but now we're at the end, I relax in front of the PC and find my serenity again.

Il colore selettivo , se usato sapientemente come in questa foto, è una tecnica o espediente che può davvero dare una marcia in più all'immagine, consentendo di evidenziare un particolare, in questo caso il carrello rosso della spesa della signora nell'accendere un punto di colore nello sfondo di questa street.
La foto sarebbe stata ugualmente interessante per l'inquadratura, il gioco dei riflessi, l'elemento umano che sembra fondersi con i manichini della vetrina...sarebbe sempre stata insomma una tua foto, per intenderci. Ma il punto rosso mi convince e mi piace davvero molto.
Bravissimo come sempre!

In un primo momento pensavo a un b/n tradizionale, carissima Adele, poi un .... tram giallo mi ha fatto cambiare idea !
Devo dire che, tecnicamente, non è un colore selettivo ma ho semplicemente desaturato l'intera foto eccetto il carrello. Per il resto, i riflessi laterali mi hanno aiutato a capire quando passava qualcuno. Ricordo di avere già scattato in quel portone, molto tempo fa e con un'altra mf.
Colgo l'occasione per ringraziarti di cuore per tutti i commenti che mi hai lasciato di recente e, quindi, per il tempo che mi hai dedicato, cosa che mi fa sempre enormemente piacere.

Very effective framing. The eye is immediately drawn into the photo, past the reflections, to the shopping trolley, and then to the woman pushing the trolley, then beyond to the menswear shop. Such a lot to see in one photo, Fabio.
