Kevin Aymoz of France
Warm up for the competition
2025 World Figure Skating Championship
Boston, Massachusetts
Caught in midair, it looks frightening, but Kevin Aymoz landed this perfectly on one foot.
My Lumix camera is a wonderful all-purpose camera but was not designed to take lightening fast action shots under indoor lighting conditions. However, the audience was not allowed to bring in cameras with interchangeable lenses or zoom lenses longer than 6 inches. Although I would have loved to have had my Canon r7 with its 100-400 monster lens, the Lumix was a real trooper and got the job done. I had fun watching the skaters and was able to capture some interesting moments.
