I have a slide of an almost identical photo taken 51 years ago.
My Dad worked in Jordan in 1965 ... He was in Amman and Aqaba. He designed alot of the insides of the 2 then new palaces of King Hussein(and the then Princess Muna). He played with the then infant Abdullah on a couple of occasions. He is now of course The King. !
He was able to see much and loved the Jordanian people. He saw Petra before it became the huge tourist attraction it is... and many other places.
