My two cents worth: large parts of the world are impoverished because the world's population is far too large. The only solution I see is that people stop reproducing wildly, not completely, but who on earth needs 10 kids, especially poor families who can't feed them?
I'm sure my opinion isn't very popular, but that's life.

Those who reproduce the most are the poorest, for the reasons we know, and the richest, in obedience to the precepts of a religion that has been largely overtaken by the social evolution they have imposed on us and themselves - for obsolete reasons... They are contributing to the same disaster for completely opposite reasons! Conservatism is not an empty word, but it has different meanings and motives, against which we have been constantly fighting for decades and centuries, under different banners, which were social yesterday and humanitarian today, isn't it?

You're so right, Rosa! Optimism conquers all misery, and the poorest populations teach us this lesson. We who no longer know how to fight, how to defend ourselves and how to hope... A rather cheerful and blissful resignation that allows us to believe in the future despite everything...

Bien sûr que les abysses qui séparent les gens dans la misère et les nantis de ce monde? Les raisons viennent amplifier le phénomène, le besoin des plus riches de le devenir encore plus et les pauvres qui comme l'on dit en France n'ont que le ''café du pauvre'' pour supporter leur condition et donc accroissent leur pauvreté ... Des dizaines de bouches à nourrir avec si peu pour le faire! Alors les autres ne veulent rien voir, rien entendre et la fermer!
