Lokzug
Ein Lokzug oder Lokomotivzug besteht aus einem einzelnen oder aus mehreren zusammengekuppelten Triebfahrzeugen (oft Lokomotiven), die ohne weitere Fahrzeuge als Zug verkehren. Die hinter dem führenden Triebfahrzeug eingereihten Fahrzeuge können geschleppt sein.
Die aktuelle Fachbezeichnung für diese Zuggattung heißt in Deutschland Triebfahrzeugfahrt, abgekürzt Tfzf. (Quelle: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lokzug)
Diesen Zug habe ich bei einer Autofahrt leider nur aus der Ferne gesehen. Ich hielt natürlich spontan an und knipste diese 9 Prachtexemplare - aus ca. 250 ... 400 m mit dem Handy und bei beginnendem Schneefall nicht gerade optimal. Man kann den Loktyp nur ahnen ...
Vermutlich sind dies Siemens Mehrsystem-Vectrons im Eigentum der Fa. TX Logistics (deren Logo ist ja auf allen Loks erkennbar und die roten Lüftungsgitter sind auch recht typisch).

Bei der zweiten Lok von rechts könnte es sich um die 193 264 handeln.

It is a very different kind of train to see!
As you say, a load of locomotives, probably not powered, for delivery somewhere..
I do remember seeing freight train in America with a similar number of locomotives, but I'll have to look for the photos.
