Since 1995, Viña Aquitania has developed an innovative and successful project in Traiguen, 650 km south of Santiago in the Malleco Valley, latitude 38 degrees south.

The vineyard is planted with Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir vines on a red clay soil, rich in organic matter where the vine has all the elements for a good development and a balanced production of high quality.

The climate of the area in winter is cold with high rainfall, summers are dry and the grape ripening occurs with mild temperatures that preserve the acidity and together with the fine and elegant aromas that are remarkable in the wine.

The weather conditions in Traiguen, the soil in the area and adequate winemaking allow for wines of excellent quality with very good sugar-acid balance, cool, great fruitiness and minerality, uncommon features in Chile.
